SPF are proud to announce minor sponsorship of the South Canterbury Principals Association. Schools are taking an increasing interest in the web as a way to distribute information like Newsletters, give prospective parents a feel for the school's culture, and to provide a hub for homework. Even a small school can generate quite a lot of content, so what better way to build the site than with the Joomla! Content Management System? Administration and teaching staff find it easy to do updates direct from their desktop or laptop. Everything is archived, so it's easy to check back. SPF Multimedia are your local Joomla! experts, so help is always on hand. |

One year on from the launch of the first school-specific site at Aoraki Polytechnic students and staff alike are benefiting from improved communications. The initiative came from Information Services manager Rob Talbot and Outdoor Education coordinator Ian Logie, and launched with The School of Outdoor Education site. Built in Joomla! the site is easy for staff or senior students to update. Nobody needs HTML, if you can use a word processor you can update your Joomla! site. Levels of access can be managed to have public-facing and student-only areas. |
